  Warning: only use Dan Freeman if you want to pay top prices for the most amateur product poorly constructed and poorly installed. I paid for a big pressure clean, the replacement of four lengths of 3 metre box gutters which were leaking, for him to reseal the flashing, re paint those sections of my roof and leaf guard those box gutters, re-seal and stop leaking areas and water damage leaking areas to be repaired. All for $6500. Dan only needed to replace two of the four box gutters (no deduction for less work) and the two he made are so badly put together that there are 4cm gaps between the two bits of box guttering where they are meant to be joined together and up to 3cm gaps between the top of the gutter and the roof flashing. From there the end caps are lower than the drain pipe so the water now runs back away from the drainpipe and into the corner of the gutter. To hide these bad joins roofing tape was placed over the gaps. Suffice to water comes straight in through the gutters he built. He refuses to accept his work is sub standard and wants a further $20,000 to replace the whole roof (the rest of the roof is in good condition). To prove that it’s the gutter leaking and nowhere else I tipped a bucket of water into the guttering which promptly ran straight into the house. He now refuses to fix it or replace it even under warranty. All I can say is that if you want a drawn out process with VCAT to get your roof fixed then this is the business for you!
